The best use of the API is to automate activities that are better handled by a computer system. Repetitive tasks such as uploading, downloading, or daily message sending can often be sped up through the use of the API. The most common use of the Mailing Tank API is as a means of passing customer data from an in-house CRM system or database into the Mailing Tank application. The API is also used by Mailing Tank partners to re-implement the Mailing Tank user interface as well as by clients who want to use a portion of the Mailing Tank functionality as a part of their application.
